Sweet Tripp Roth!

Friends,

I beg you to get on your knees and pray for sweet Tripp!

He was diagnosed with a rare genetic skin disease called "EB." Any type of friction on his skin or mucous membranes causes blisters.

I can not look at this face without my heart breaking!

How I long to take his pain away! How I long to hold his Momma in my arms and tell her how proud I am of her!

His mother is amazing! She has so much FAITH! She is trusting God with her son, and allowing His will to be done!

I so long to tell her how much I admire her... how proud I am of him! She is amazing!

I remember looking at Oscar's little bottom and my heart breaking for the sores on it... Well... look at sweet Tripp's poor lil bottom :'(

Tripp is coming close to the end of this world, and nearer to a world of perfection with our savious, Jesus Christ!

PLEASE keep this precious boy in your prayers! And his family and friends!

We love you Tripp!!

I'll Need a Pinky Swear- by Courtney Roth

As he lies in my lap
And together we sway
I rock him to sleep
And meanwhile I pray:

"Dear God, I know you can see us
And you're watching from above
Filled with sadness for him, as we are,
And equally in love.

I've never once asked You "why?"
Nor questioned if You were near.
But I do have one request tonight,
I pray that you will hear.

When it's time for You to call him home,
And my hope turns into despair,
I will need more than a promise from You,
I'll need a pinky-swear...

That you will hold him close to Your chest,
And say "I love you" all day long.
That you will rock him 'til your knees get sore,
And sing his favorite songs.

Tell me that You'll keep him safe,
So I will not be distressed.
Tell me that he'll will get his wings
And tell me he'll be blessed.

Let me know he made it safely,
Without a single blister or bleed,
Let me know that you will do MY job,
To fulfill his every need.

I have to know that you will love him,
Just as much, or more, than I do.
And when he finally speaks a word,
That You'll record it so I can hear, too.

My buddy is going to need Your help,
With so much yet to learn.
Like using a spoon, writing his name,
And having to wait his turn.

God, please be patient when he tries,
For he's such a sweet and loving boy.
Please give him every thing he wants,
But make sure he shares his toys.

These are things I'll miss out on,
Like no Mommy should have to do.
So don't let one milestone go unnoticed,
Please, I'm begging You.

He likes Elmo's ducks, The Three little Pigs,
Shoo Fly and Counting to Four.
Big Green Tractor, Rise and Shine.
And when they stop, he'll tell you "more."

He holds certain toys in certain hands,
And says yes with a big smile.
Please spend some extra special time,
And talk with him awhile.

It breaks my heart to have to think
That he won't graduate from school.
Or go to prom, or have kids of his own,
Or even break a single rule.

Tell him for me- please don't forget,
That I wanted him to stay.
That I tried and tried to ease his pain,
But it was only YOU who knew the way.

I know you have a choir of angels,
Who play music while they fly.
And if they need a drummer boy-
Well, my Tripp, he's their guy!

You've probably seen it for yourself,
That he's one brave kid, indeed.
But he'll be scared if You have to leave,
So stay with him, I plead.

If he has to go to Heaven first,
I'll make one promise back to You-
I'll miss him every second he's gone,
And spend the rest of my life trying to get there, too.

I hope that's not too much to ask,
And I trust You'll do your best.
To fill my spot, just temporary,
And answer my requests.

Thank in advance, Dear God.
Because I know You're a busy man.
I trust in You and in Your Will
And know You have a plan."

Words just simply can't express
To my only son who just turned two-
How very much my heart will ache
If that rocking chair is without you.

So dear sweet angel baby of mine,
If we ever have to say goodbye...
I'll rock you in my heart forever,
Until we meet again in the sky.

gone.

I lay here wide awake at night,
thinking of nothing but you.
With tears streaming down my face,
and my heart so full of pain.

You packed up your things and left me here,
without even saying goodbye.
And all I have left is the memories,
I know we will never relive again.

I know I was never good enough,
but I never deserved this.
I didn't deserve the way you ran away,
without telling me a thing.

You took my little girl so far away,
and you used her to play your games.
I miss you both oh-so-much,
but I can't keep playing.

You want to talk and then you don't,
how the hell am I meant to know?
I call you back and she answers your phone,
Is she the one giving you what you want?

Well have it all, baby,
and rub it in my face.
You got the perfect life without me now,
but do you even care about how you left me feeling?

Life in the fast lane

When was the moment it seemed to fast forward?
Is it just me, or does everything seem to be going so much quicker then ever these days.

Well, lets just say, I am glad in some ways and in others I wish time would just slow down! Everything is so busy and cluttered and I feel as if there is never any time to do anything!

Working 5 shifts at MacDonalds a week, plus fitting in as much babysitting as I can, going out to parties and finding time to bond with my girl friends, spending time with Oscar and running around after the kids, fundraising for adoptings, and praying to God that time slows down to fit more in.

Gosh, when did that transition happen?!

Anyway, Oscar is growing up on us so fast... although I havn't seen him in a while! It is hard to find the time with all this other stuff going on, and I miss him oh-so-much!

It is hard to beleive he is 3 now!
Wasn't it just a few days ago we sat in that hospital room? I could swear it was....

This precious blue eyed boy and I have a prayer request, too!

Some of you may know Sam, the orphan who is being adopted. Well, his family is meeting him NOW! And they happen to be in the same institution!

They were not able to get us pictures of Max but they did say he is wayyyyyy cuter in real life then in his picture! They also told us he can walk!

It is so releiving knowing a little about the place Max is waiting in. It is also comforting to know that yes, he is ok!

However, there is still a rush to get him home, and this darn paperwork thing is so annoying! Nothing ever seems to be compleate, or there is an error, and it is always traveling between people to get fixxed up!

Praise God we have such a great bunch of 'helpers' willing to use their time to bring Max home!

Teenage drama never stops amazing me... not that I can really just put it out there as I want to do.
Lets just say, Moms, be ready! LOL :)

Billy, Zac and Annie are all doing good. Annie has the 'frincess' obsession where she changes her clothes ten times a day and wants me to do her make up. Its kinda sweet, but is starting to get her in some big trouble! Bedroom time outs are common for Miss Grumpy at the moment!
Which reminds me... how on earth do we get her to stop. NOTHING seems to be working. Smacks, time outs, no treats... FAIL!
I suggested we just keep putting her in the room, and eventually she will stop (I hate smacking her!!!!) But it doesnt seem to be working!

The kids love the fact that I can now drive. Billy will constently be asking me if we can go for a drive, or will I take him to soccar practice. I don't particually like driving with the kids in the car, but Billy is pretty cool with it. Zac and Annie do not know how it sit quietly while Mum talks me through what to do, which makes me nervous! They also don't really think it is safe for them, as they have seen me bunny hop down the street ;)
I love driving!!!

I went on camp last week, but I will save that for a new post... soon, I promise :)

Anyways, gotta go get dressed, curl my hair, put my makeup on, get changed and go out dancing!

Happy day :)

My teenage dream!

I told you a few post's back about my birthday, and how I went to Katy Perry.

Well, that post did not do it justice. I don't think anything ever will. Seriously, It was the best night of my life!

All my friends are getting kinda sick of me listening, singing and dancing to Katy Perry, but I can not get over it!
Oh my goodness!

My hands are shaking in excitement as I type these words.

I am obsessed!

Can you blame me?

She is SO amazingly stunning! Even more so in real life.

Yes, as of the 13th of May, I can officially say 'I have been in the same room as the hottest chick in the world'.

I have no idea why I have this obsession with her.. she makes me laugh and cry and feel so many different things!
God, I sound like she is my best friend... nope, just a celebrate crush ;)

Anyways, back to the concert...
She came out and I got so exited I cried! I think Sarah and Beth were a little embarrassed! LOL :)
She came rising up from the bottom of the stage in the cutest little outfit, and sang 'teenage dream'. Yes, I was living my teenage dream while she sang it! I was so overwhelmed at the fact that I was looking at the real Katy Perry! It was amazing!!

She stopped singing, and I did a love heart to her... she did one back! I was convinced it was to me, and started bawling, Sarah and Beth laughed. I am now unconvinced, as I found this picture while googling 'Katy Perry, Cali Dreams tour' and realising it wasn't from my concert...

Oh well, someday, maybe ;)

She is literally the funniest person I have ever heard!
I totally get why her and Russel Brand are together, BUT, really, she is mine!!

Before I went I heard a lot of people tell me not to expect her to be good, because she is crappy live... well, they were wrong huh?!
She sounds AMAZING!!!
Promise!

If you ever get the chance to go see her, DO IT! I will be! :)

She sang most the songs I like, which is GREAT!
And I knew every song she sang... yewwwww!
So, I could sing and dance along to them :)

She played a game with us too! She sang 4 songs that aren't hers, and who ever guessed them all right got a kiss.... JEALOUS!!!

She sang Friday by Rebecca Black (BTW how cute is Katy's new film clip FT Rebecca?! Queens of Friday!!!), Some random JAY-Z song, Only girl by Rhianna, and Whip my hair by Willow Smith... YES, I am the hair whipper of all time! She sang them in her own way, so whip my hair was sung slow... BUT, I whipped like a crazy person... everyone giggled! The poor grandma next to me got a few whips to the face too ;) hahah!
Too much fun!

She sang 'I kissed a girl' really slow at the start and rocked out near the end... It was AWESOME!
She pulled this guy up on stage and kissed him, again, JEALOUS!
I hunted Steele Harvey down on facebook as soon as I got home ;) heheh! He is quite famous now! DERRRR, he kissed Katy Perry!!

She is such a cutie! And I totally want her cute accent!!! :)
I think I'm in love? hahaha!

'Not like the movies'... CUTEST-SONG-EVER! and she performed it so well! Up on her little swing, in an adorable outfit, with lil cartoons playing in the background! So cute :)

You change your mind, like a girl changes clothes!
Well, she was deffantly trying to prove a point in this song! I think she has like 9 out fit changes in the song! They would just pull up a sheet and drop it, BAM! New outfit! She is pretty awesome like that ;)

Peacock is one of my favorite songs!
So, its not totally approprate, but it is so fun, and cheeky :) I love it!
And her singing it live!!! Oh-my-god!!!!
It was so much fun! :) I love it!
Something so innocent, but so naughty! LOVE LOVE LOVED it!

FYI, this Cali girl has got moves!!! ;)

And of course, California Girls at the California dreams tour concert!
THAT was fun!!!
Beach balls, bubbles, dancing ginger bread men, and check the cupcake dress out!
Ain't she the sweetest?! :)

And she said goodnight!

Well, there was a lot inbetween, but, its getting late and if I told you it all I might get to over exited and won't sleep! hahah!

Katy Perry, you make me feel like I'm living a teenage dream!

You da best!!! Crazy Cali Gurl! :)

Are you ready to fight?

My goal, to change the world.

For someone.

Sometime.

Making my life matter.

THAT is all that matters to me.

I will not give up.

No matter how discoraged I feel.

No matter how many people tell me one life doesn't count.

No matter how many times I hear the words "Why bother, its not your problem".

News flash.... it IS my problem! It is your problem.... WE have the power to change what we see.

You all know my heart for the orphan... My need to bring 'my little brother' home... The way my heart aches when I see these children, lonley, unloved and forgotten.
This is the reason I started 'to love the unloved'. God sent me an army to FIGHT!

My heart has opened more. Thanks to one amazing lady, God has graciously blessed me with. Kristy Edwards from World Vision. Let me tell you... this lady has a vision!!! And a heart of gold!
She is absolutly inspiring and I am very blessed to have had the honor to meet her in person on Wednesday, when she kindly spoke to the school about the 40 hour famine.

So, I know I have quite a few more readers since this time last year, so I shall explain myself ;)

The forty hour famine is where you give something up for forty hours and gather sponsers to fight world hunger. Typically, the forty hour famine is going without food, but you can go without ANYTHING! Facebook, phone, technology, furnature... anything!

East Timor....

A place so very close to Australia... Half the population children... Half those children going hungry....

Does this look ok to you?

"I would like to ask God why He allows this... but I am scared He will ask me the same question"

What if I were to tell you that you could change this?

What if I were to tell you that there was no need for CHILDREN to suffer?

Would that be enough to make you act?

What if I told you that every single child there has hope?

What if I told you that YOU are their hope?

Would that make you act?

Mothers... imagaine watching your child dying infront of your eyes because you have so little you can not provide for them...

Sisters... imagaine the feeling of holding your sibling, and feeling nothing but bones, because they have not had a meal in the past few days...

Friends... imagaine if it was someone YOU knew! Because there is someone out there who knows these feelings.

Will you act now?

I can promise you, YOU have the power. The power to change what you see.

YOU can make a differance....
all you need is faith!

To give up forty hours of something may seem like a lot, but is it really?

I don't think Abito thinks so, since he went months without food during hungry season.

Do the forty hour famine.... Sponser someone who is ( http://www.worldvision.com.au/40HF/ProfilePage.aspx?preferredurl=lakemunmorah ).... Pray for those who have stepped out in faith, because we beleive in Gods promise, we beleive in Gods strength, we beleive we can make a differance!

When is it OUR turn, God?

So, another thing I have forgotten to keep you updated on is our adoption of Max!
Did I even tell you it was my adoptive family bringing him home?!
Yes... Max is going to be Max Marks!

We have submitted the Dossier paperwork and are waiting for all that stuff to clear :)
Please pray it is a quick process, Max despratly needs us!

Latley,I have been seeing so many children have their 'gotcha days'. The day they are united with there mummy and daddy forever! No more orphange!! No more institution!!
It brings so much joy to my heart, but I want to know when its my turn!

When do Mom and Dad get to walk Max out those doors, and never look back....
When do we get to teach Max love....
When do we get to care for him....
When is it our turn, God....

Right now we play the waiting game. And boy is it hard!
To not know ANYTHING about where Max is, is so very very hard!
We have no info, no updated pictures, not a WORD on how my baby brother is doing!
And it breaks my heart.
I need to know he is ok, But I guess I just need to trust God a little more right now.

This journey has been one on faith. It has not been easy by all means. It has been harder then I ever expected. Waiting for funds... Endless paperwork... Heart longing to hold Max... it is all so hard, but that moment, when it is our turn, all this is going to be worth it.

Please, go to Debbie's blog and read our story... share our story... help compleate our story, and bring my little brother home!

Max is precious.
Max is treasured.
Max is loved.
Max is adored.
Max is admired.
Max is beautiful.
Max belongs with us!

I have set up a chip in. Please, if you feel moved to do so add to this chip in.
Pray.... Share.... donate!

Thank you for being apart of our journey, it means so very much to us!
Love, Tay

Back to blogging...

Wow, I really stink at blogging sometimes!

I am sorry!

So, the whole letter to Oscar idea isn't really my thing... I want this blog to be about my life with Oscar, but also with my friends, my sibling and everyone elce :) I want to be able to show Annie and Billy and Zac this blog and for them to see that I care about them too!

I want to share my forever blessed life with everyone!!!

An update on my crazy life:

I turned 16 on May 13th, and it was the best day of my life! Besides Oscar being born of course ;)

I had my beautiful friends stay the night, and then we hit up the zone cross coutry for work instead of school....

My beautiful best friend, Kaitlin

Abbie and Alice :)

One of my favorite pictures!

Just droppin' it low!

So, we are THE BEST shufflers EVER! I'm tellin' y'all, we should be paid, were that good!

And then the clock struck 5pm, and it was time to get ready for what was going to be the most amazing night ever....

I put on my dress, curled my hair, did my make up, put on my heels, and drove an hour with my two favorite girls in the entire world!

Then we finally got there.... and we partyed HARD!

And she came out, and I cried... It was soooo amazing!

She was sooo amazing, and funny, and ahhhh, I am so in love with her :) If I could go back, I would pay a million $$ to! Seriously, she ROCKS!

So, Friday soon became Monday, and my boy aged to 3!

I have already posted, so I will just give you some pictures from the day! We had a blast :)

We had an amazing day and I am so proud of how far both Oscar and I have come in the past three years!

Today, is a very specail day! Happy birthday to our special friend, Miss E-V! Savana, E-V's big sister, is my best friend, and E-V and Oscar will be best friends someday soon :)
We love you E-V!

So, that pretty much brings you up to speed.... oh wait, I got my licence yesterday, so Aussie homies, get off the road! hahaha!

Peace out :)

Taylah, x
