I need YOUR help

Oscar isn't doing very well, infact he is in so much pain, and it is killing me!
He hasn't pooed in 3 days and is so sore and just can't get it out. We have tried everything! Seriously!

Anway, I am on a mission and I would LOVE your help....
I am trying to find someone who had been/is in the same position as us.
Someone with a child that was born with an impreferat anus (no bottom hole) so we can see what is working for them....
PLEASE share this with as many people as you can and ask them to do the same!

If you have any questions or anything that might help please either leave a comment or email me at...
cute-volcom@hotmail.com
I would be most greatful!
I figure, I have so many friends around the world, who also have lots of friends and so it goes on... I am bound to find someone who can help, give advice, take my babys pain away, but I cant do this alone!
Please, share this on Facebook, on your blog, via email.... PLEASE!

I know this is Gods will, and I am not to question it but seeing Oscar in so much pain is breaking my heart!

Some handy info...
Oscar is 27 months, he had his final surgery at 25 months and has alot of troubles ever since.
He had 6 sugreys on his bottom and (5 out of 6 were succesful) and all speedy recoverys.

Please, share this with as many people as possible.

God bless you

  1. This is a common problem in the DS community. Farrar had a hard time. We used miralax. That is what the doctor reccommended. I would put a half cap full in one of her bottles everday sometimes twice a day. I did this everyday for months. I also watched her diet very close. Bannanas really constipate her. The miralax is easy on her stomach and the GI specialist said that it is better than prune juice which can cause cramping. good luck!

  2. Hi ~

I came to your blog from Lorraine Patterson's blog. My 5 yr old brother has DS. Although he does not have an imperforate anus, I am quite sure Tammy Hodson's little boy, Parker, from Praying for Parker (www.prayingforparker.com) has dealt with this. Her email is hods5mom @ aol . com (remove spaces). I'm sure she'd be glad to help!

  4. Please email me at april41068@gmail.com. I have a 4 yr. old daughter with IA and she suffered terribly with the same issues. There is help! The Center for Colorectal Disorders in Children in Cincinnati Ohio. We just took our daughter for total bowel management in June. It has been a miracle for her.

    Blessings!

I have spoken with Monica, one of the nurses there and they are AWESOME about helping parents out who live all over the world.
